Francesc Cambó

The multifaceted figure of Francesc Cambó – lawyer, statesman, politician, businessman, art collector, cultural promoter and patron – has been widely studied by some of the most prominent authors of contemporary historiography.

It was never the desire of the Institut Cambó to influence freedom of thought regarding his persona, the context in which he lived and acted or his choices, but it did see it as its mission to facilitate easy access to both his complete works and to all that the Institut’s managers knew had been published about him.
