Other collections

In addition to the Col·lecció Bernat Metge and Clàssics de Tots els Temps, which were later preserved and revived by the Institut Cambó, further examples of historical collections championed by Francesc Cambó and published by Alpha publishing house include ‘Monumenta Cataloniae’ and ‘Les grans personalitats de la literatura catalana’ (Outstanding figures in Catalan literature). Throughout its long history, Alpha was also responsible for publishing a number works that were not affiliated with any specific collection, such as the three volumes that make up the acclaimed Història de Catalunya (History of Catalonia) by Ferran Soldevila.
